Introduction to Ceramics Class

This class is all about getting your hands in the clay and having fun!
You'll learn different techniques, like slab ceramics and the pinch method. This is a beginner-friendly class!

Slab ceramics is a versatile and widely used hand-building technique in pottery that involves creating forms from flat sheets of clay. Unlike wheel-thrown pottery, which relies on a spinning motion to shape the clay, slab construction allows for a more structured and geometric approach to ceramic design. This technique is particularly useful for crafting plates, tiles, boxes, and sculptural pieces.

Do you want to learn more about ceramics, expand your knoledge, and make your own signature pieces? Then this class is for you!

We offer individual classes, as well as packs up to 8 classes:
